We had a wonderful time on the 2 hour kayak tour! Beckett was a great tour guide with a lot of knowledge on the river's ecosystem and an indepth knowledge of birds. We found the whole trip to be beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing! We also went for a swim in the river which was great fun! I highly recommend this trip!! :o)

My wife and I ended our vacation with a trip down the Waccamaw, and all we can think about is coming back next year to do it again. Bubby was a treasure trove of knowledge and experience, and spending time with him was a privilege and an education, and FUN! He was a wonderful teacher for my wife who had never been in a kayak before. The area is beautiful and pristine, and we LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!!!

I'm from Australia, moved to Brooklyn when I got married. I love the outdoors but rarely get a chance to be outside, due to an intense school and work schedule. In school to be a physical therapist, and the first thing I do when I graduate is go on a several month long vacation to Australia., Brooklyn, New York

My best friend, Paige, and I took a 2 hour kayak tour on the Wacamaw river with Bubby. We had a wonderful time! Bubby has a great sense of humor, is very experienced in the outdoors, has GREAT stories to tell of his adventures, and shares his vast knowledge of the surroundings freely. We had a great time and will definitely take another tour when we're back in the area. It was an educational trip, but was also a lot of fun.

My friend and I went on a 2-hr. tour last week down the Waccamaw River with Bubby as our tour guide and had the most amazing time! He was great at teaching us how to maneuver our kayaks better and very patient. But his knowledge about the river, the history of the area, and the animals that live there is what really made the trip unforgettable. Bubby knew exactly where to look for different animals, and from his kayak, he could even spot their tracks and recent dwellings on land. We spotted numerous birds, including a V-tail, and even an alligator! We are telling all of our friends in the area to check out Great Escapes and can't wait to take another trip!

We just got home from our family vacation in Myrtle Beach . We tried something new this year and took a trip down the Waccamaw River with Bubby. What a great experience, and what a great guide! Bubby really knew the river, the wildlife and the history of the area. He was so much fun to spend the day with. He was engaging with the whole family, and great with the kids (the water guns were an unexpected treat!). It truly felt like a kayak trip down the river with an old friend. Thanks for the great experience. We look forward to taking another trip with him someday.

I felt totally safe with you, you know your wildlife and you were not only a great guide but a tremendous host. You seem to be equipped for anything.
