What time do the kayak tours leave?
Depending on the time of year, 10-11a.m during the cooler months
8-9 a.m. during the hotter months
Afternoon tours begin at 2-3p.m. and 4 p.m.

Are there snakes on the river?
Yes there are although we often do not see any. Your guide will make you aware of how to avoid them.

Are there Alligators on the river?
Occasionally we may see an alligator on the river. They are easily visible and easy to avoid.

What tour is best for people with little no kayak experience?
The Waccamaw River tour.
The Waites Island tour is for experienced kayakers only.

What is the weight limit for the kayak?
250 lbs.
